The Grand Canyon
No photograph prepares you for the scale — a mile deep, ten miles across, two billion years of Earth in the walls. Skip the midday rim-shuffle: watch sunrise from Hopi Point, or earn the canyon properly by hiking partway down Bright Angel Trail.
