The "Accursed Mountains" (Theth and Valbona) deliver Europe's last true wilderness travel: a spectacular valley-to-valley trek between stone-tower villages, blue-eyed springs, and a guesthouse culture of raki and mountain hospitality. The ferry across Lake Koman to reach it is a fjord-like journey in itself.
